How to Export a Document Fragment
Processing and exporting a multi-page document can be time-consuming. FineReader Sprint provides a page-by-page export feature for processing large documents.
To export specific pages of a document:
- Select the desired pages in the
Pages pane.
Tip: Pages can be selected manually using the keyboard Command or Shift shortcuts or by choosing the appropriate command in the Edit menu. See "Working with FineReader Documents" for more information.
Note: Only pages of a recognized document can be exported. If you disabled automatic recognition or edited the detected areas, to start the recognition, choose Read Pages in the shortcut menu or in the Page menu.
- Choose Export Page in the shortcut menu of any of the selected pages. Customize the export parameters if necessary. See "Exporting Results" for more information.
To copy a fragment of text or table:
You can copy a text fragment or a table to the Clipboard and then paste it into another application, such as Microsoft Word:
- Import the image that contains the text fragment or table that you need.
- Select the area that contains the text or table.
- Use Copy Recognized Text in the shortcut menu of the selected area
to copy the text or table to the Clipboard.
Note: If the selected area has not yet been recognized, the program will automatically recognize it and copy its content to the Clipboard when you select Copy Recognized Text.
- Paste the text fragment or table from the Clipboard into an application of your choice.
Note: Fragments can only be copied from Text or Table areas.
