FineReader Sprint How to Save a FineReader Document and Resume Work Later

You can save your work to a FineReader document at any time and continue later. Page images, recognized text (if any text was recognized), recognition areas, the recognition language and export settings will all be saved in the FineReader document.

For your convenience, you can save a FineReader document and resume work on it later. When a previously saved document is opened, the source images of the pages with area markup and export parameters are automatically opened. If you edited an image after import, the edited version will open.

To save a FineReader document:

  1. Choose File > Save FineReader document....
  2. Enter a name for the document and specify where it should be saved.

This will create a file with the extension .frdoc. To open a FineReader document, choose File > Open FineReader document.
